In a nutshell: The Reber family has tried their best to create and provide a wonderful well decorated very comfortable facility where most everything that you will need is provided. Many of those things are listed below, but should you have additional questions, don’t hesitate to call or email.
There are 8 uniquely decorated bedrooms. Each bed is complete with linens and bedspreads. Additional linens/blankets are also provided. The family/great room has many couches and additional floor space with plush carpet to accommodate kids/teenagers. Also provided, are 7 deluxe sleeping mats.
The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils, as well as eating utensils, plates, bowls & glasses. There are large bowls for serving dishes, pitchers, a mixer, cutting boards, a colander, two electric griddles for pancakes/french toast and a crock pot, hot pads, dish towels and dish soap. There is a dishwasher and a large fridge/freezer. There is an additional full size refrigerator in the walk-in pantry. There is a charcoal barbecue and a propane barbecue.
Wow! What a gathering spot! A very large group of people can sit and enjoy a meal together at the same time in a beautifully restored historic setting. And when you’re not eating, the kids can watch a movie on the flat screen TV.
This room will certainly be where people gather. It is incredible. The beautiful hand crafted original judges bench, built in 1903, is certainly the focal point. Re-enact scenes from history or hold a mock family trial in this historic setting. There is also a large TV, movies, fire place, piano, air hockey and foosball amidst the comfortable oversized couches/loungers.
Another truly amazing room with 20’ tall ceilings that could easily make a 9th bedroom with the sleeper sofa. The walls are lined with hundreds of books on every subject. You are bound to find something to interest every person in your group. There are also games and a nice chess table with chairs.
Wifi is provided for you free of charge.
The four and a half bathrooms each have towels, washcloths, and soap. It is recommended that large groups bring their own towels.
Sure to be a favorite place to hang out at night is the fire pit area. There are plenty of comfortable chairs and wood is provided, as well as skewers for roasting marshmallows and hot dogs.
Expansive lawns with huge shade trees, perfect for pitching tents, parking an RV, relaxing in the hammock, or just hanging out. You will find a horseshoe pit, volleyball, croquet, badminton, basketball and other miscellaneous toys/games/bicycles in our giant toy shed. There are lots of extra picnic tables and seating on the oversized covered patio.
